Wednesday 3rd August 2011CineEurope Amsterdam, 27 June 2011 – Datasat Digital Entertainment will have their full line of cinema products, including the AP20 Audio Processor, DC20 Digital Cinema Server, XD20 Media Player, and Alexandria Library Storage Server, on display Tuesday, June 28th through Thursday, June 30th at CineEurope. In addition to their hardware products, Datasat will also be showing their new digital sound trailer at booth #606 at the Amsterdam RAI.
Since its introduction at the show last year, the AP20 Audio processor has gained great traction. High profile installs of the AP20 include Max Linder and Gaumont Parnasse in France and Paramount's screening room in Greece. The features of the box has made it a sound choice both digital and 35mm cinemas.
“We have installed the AP20 sound processor at a number of sites and are fully convinced of its quality,” stated Frank Schmitz of FTT. “One big advantage is its modular design covering 8 to 16 channel digital or 35m sound systems which is very important for hybrid installations, for example. In addition, you may directly connect external sources via HDMI cable.”
In addition to the 16-channel Audio Processor, an 8-channel version is now available, offering both analog and digital inputs/outputs and the option of upgrading to 16 channels when necessary. Datasat Digital Entertainment also will have their DC20 Digital Cinema Server on Display.
“We used the DC20 digital cinema server for the first time at the film festival in Hantimansiysk, Russia, in February of 2011,” said Sergey Puskov of Kinocomfort. “It’s visual interface is clear, simple and has a lot of functions at the same time. The server copes with different contents and shows unique reliability. Perhaps, nowadays Datasat’s DC20 is one of the best solutions in the market.”
